Ingredient Design at Vitafoods Europe 2026

Turn ingredient ideas into particle performance. Improve solubility, stability, dosability, bioavailability, release behavior, taste, flavor, … Meet us at Vitafoods Europe 2026, May 5–7 in Barcelona at stand 5G82, and discover how particle design can turn sensitive, difficult, or poorly soluble ingredients into robust, functional products.

Glatt Webinar Particle Engineering from Nano to Macro 2026

In this webinar, we focus on detailed introductions to different particle formation and functionalization principles. Besides theoretical basics of particle enlargement, more detailed information about agglomeration or spray granulation processes using fluidized and spouted bed technologies will be given. The webinar offers the possibility to evaluate different processing principles in batch or continuous operation as well as the influence of processing conditions and material properties on the final product properties.

Process technology & plant engineering. Glatt at CRU Phosphates 2026

April 13, 2:30 pm: ‘Technological Solution for Designing Customized Products from Liquid and Powdered Raw Materials’ This is the topic of the Glatt presentation at CRU Phosphates Conference 2026, on in Paris, France, 13 – 15 April 2026! With its unique combination of engineering competence, reliable plant design, and proven process technologies, Glatt positions itself as a trusted partner for customers worldwide seeking sustainable solutions in recycling, functional materials, and innovative product development.

Efficiently Achieving the Optimum Particle Size

Powders and granules are key products in the food and fine chemicals industries. Their quality depends on particle properties such as size, shape and stability – and on the energy input in the process. Rising energy costs and climate targets are placing an increasing focus on efficient production processes. In an interview, Gudrun Ding, Head of PTF New Technologies at Glatt Ingenieurtechnik, explains how high product quality and energy efficiency can be combined.

Added-value solutions for solid particles. Glatt at Solids 2026

Particle design for powders, granules and pellets out of liquid and/or solid raw matetrials + plant engineering solutions. Tailor-made bulk goods for food, feed and fine chemicals with targeted particle properties. Phosphorus recycling for sewage sludge mandatory from 2029 with Glatt PHOS4green technology. Meet Glatt at SOLIDS 2026, on 18 and 19 March 2026, Stand 6-J01, Dortmund Exhibition Centre – it’s all about solids! Please come and find out how to enhance the properties of your products with Glatt technologies

PHOS4green pilot plant in Weimar

PGOS4green pilot plant now in Weimar for phosphorus recycling with reduced heavy metal content. Glatt Ingenieurtechnik is using a containerized plant for heavy metal removal from sewage sludge ash as part of phosphorus recovery trials. Thanks to PHOS4green technology at the new demonstration plant, sewage sludge ashes with elevated heavy metal content can be converted into fertilizer granules for the agricultural industry that meet all compliance requirements.

Lignin for Sustainable Batteries

Sustainable Batteries Made From Wood Industry By-Products: In the ThüNaBsE (Thuringia Sodium-Ion Battery for Scalable Energy Storage) project, the researchers are developing and evaluating a new type of sodium-ion battery based on lignin — from raw materials to a 1-Ah full cell. The project aims to support increasing independence from critical raw materials while fostering the transition to cheaper, more sustainable and safe batteries. It is being supported by an industrial advisory board consisting primarily of regional companies, including the Thuringia-based companies Glatt Ingenieurtechnik GmbH, …
