University meets industry

A few days ago, we welcomed students and employees from the Chair of Food Technology at the Technical University of Dresden and gave them an insight into the work at our Weimar site. Dr. Georg Fröhlich presented our company, the core processes for particle design based on fluidized bed and spouted bed technology as well as examples of applications, including in the field of food technology. Dr. Michael Jacob then gave a detailed tour of the Glatt Technology Center. Our visitors were visibly impressed by its modern equipment with various systems technology for laboratory tests for product and process development, for scale-ups on pilot systems and by the production facilities for contract manufacturing orders. After refreshments in the company’s own canteen, the students and employees continued their tour.
We would like to thank the students and employees for their participation and interest. We hope we were able to present Glatt as a competent partner for food technology and would be delighted to be able to recruit one or two students as future employees or partners for our company.
