Particle coating is a critical process step in many manufacturing processes. The coating process determines the quality of the end product. In order to achieve optimum results, it is therefore essential to determine the most suitable coating process. To do this, the specific properties of the raw materials and the required functionality of the respective coating in the intended application must be taken into account. The most important considerations for the development of functionalized particles by coating are outlined below.
