It’s all in the combination – Coating in the food and pharmaceutical industries, part 2 (German article)
Fluid bed equipment is widely used in many areas of industry. A particular focus of the use of fluid bed technology is the coating of particles as well as encapsulation. Especially in the food and pharmaceutical industries there are many applications. In addition, complementary technologies can be used to achieve special product properties. The first part of this article (P+F 6/2008, p. 31) described the basics of coating, the second part deals with the process technology. (article in German language)
