Glatt expands engineering capacity in Cologne, Germany

Glatt Ingenieurtechnik, the plant manufacturer, process expert and engineering provider, is opening a branch in Cologne, Germany, to focus on process and plant engineering.

On 1 March 2022, Glatt Ingenieurtechnik GmbH opened a new branch in Cologne. The new unit will showcase the company’s pharmaceutical, biotechnology and active ingredient plant expertise and represents Glatt’s first location in North Rhine-Westphalia. The decision to expand was based on a positive market outlook in the field of pharmaceutical engineering and excellent capacity utilization.

Although the site is still in the development phase, Glatt Ingenieurtechnik has already been able to recruit a number of experienced project engineers. In the future, the new branch will be expanded and the company’s entire product portfolio will be covered.

Beyond the pharmaceutical sector

In addition to projects for the pharmaceutical industry, Glatt Ingenieurtechnik also has a successful 30-year track record of completing projects for the chemical, food and feed industries. This is testament to how the company combines professional plant engineering with sound technological know-how. In addition to its headquarters in Weimar and the new facility in Cologne, the company maintains additional offices and branches in Wiesbaden, Dresden, Moscow and New Delhi.
